Key Benefits of DBI Workstation Bundles
Expert Pre-Configuration Before Shipment
Every bundle is configured by DBI imaging specialists at our Colorado facility. Hardware is tested, displays are calibrated to the CPU, CFS Calibration Suite® is installed, cables are routed and labeled. Your team plugs it in — nothing more.
OEM Pricing on Dell, HP, and Lenovo
DBI’s OEM relationships with Dell, HP, and Lenovo allow us to offer competitive institutional pricing. Bundling CPU, GPU, display, and ergonomic workstation with a single vendor reduces sourcing complexity and total cost.
Verified Display Calibration Included
Every bundle ships with a DICOM 3.14 compliant diagnostic display. Calibration is performed and verified prior to shipment. CFS Calibration Suite® is included for ongoing compliance and management.
Single Source Procurement
DBI consolidates workstation procurement across CPUs, graphics hardware, and displays — ensuring every component is matched to your exact enterprise requirements before it ships.

Bundled Workstation FAQs
What is included in a DBI workstation bundle?
A standard DBI bundle includes an OEM-certified workstation CPU (Dell, HP, or Lenovo), an enterprise-grade GPU (AMD or NVIDIA), a DICOM 3.14 compliant diagnostic display, worklist displays and an ergonomic workstation. All components are pre-configured, tested, and labeled at DBI's Colorado facility before shipment. Custom configurations are available and tailored to your reading environment.
Why should I bundle instead of sourcing components separately?
Sourcing components from multiple vendors introduces compatibility risks, multi-vendor support gaps, and significant internal labor for configuration and deployment. DBI bundles eliminate those issues — every component is verified to work together and configured by imaging specialists. For remote reader deployments especially, a pre-configured bundle means the radiologist receives a system ready to use from day one that meets enterprise standards.
Can DBI configure a bundle specific to my PACS system?
Yes. DBI systems work with all major PACS vendors and can configure each workstation for your specific PACS environment. If you have a preferred PACS system or integration requirements, include that in your quote request and our team will factor it into the configuration.
Are specific CPU or Graphic Controller (GPU) models published on this page?
No. Hardware models change frequently — what is listed today may be replaced by a newer or equivalent model within weeks. DBI sources current-generation hardware from our OEM partners and configures to meet the required performance specification. Submit a quote request with your CPU, memory, storage, and GPU requirements, and we will respond with current options and pricing!
What is a DICOM laptop and who is it designed for?
A DICOM laptop is a portable workstation configured for diagnostic-quality imaging review on the go. It is designed for radiologists and clinicians who need full diagnostic capability away from their primary workstation — whether reading between facilities, covering multiple sites, responding to staffing shortages, or interpreting studies bedside, off-site, or in conference settings.
For radiology groups managing coverage across multiple locations, a pre-configured DBI DICOM laptop can be deployed immediately to any site — closing coverage gaps without waiting on procurement or IT setup.
DBI's DICOM laptop solutions are configured to meet DICOM 3.14 display output standards and are compatible with CFS Calibration Software for mobile quality assurance. Contact us for current models and specifications below.
Does DBI offer support for enterprise multi-site deployments?
Yes. DBI has extensive experience with multi-facility healthcare deployments. We standardize configurations across all units so each site receives identical hardware and software setup. This reduces internal IT labor, eliminates inter-site variance, and simplifies long-term support. Bulk OEM pricing is available for qualified deployments.
What warranty and support programs are available?
Warranty terms and support programs vary by bundle configuration and OEM platform. For specific warranty details applicable to your configuration, include those requirements in your quote request and our team will provide the applicable terms.
Why should remote readers use a DBI pre-configured workstation bundle instead of their own equipment?
Remote reading environments introduce a risk that is easy to overlook — there is no guarantee a radiologist working from home or an off-site location is reading on a display that meets DICOM 3.14 standards or has been approved by your enterprise imaging team. A personal monitor, even a high-quality one, is not a diagnostic display.
Every DBI remote reader bundle ships pre-configured with a DICOM 3.14 compliant diagnostic display — verified and calibrated before it leaves our facility. The radiologist plugs it in and reads on a display that meets the same standards as every other station in your enterprise.
CFS Calibration Software extends that assurance beyond the initial setup. Your PACS administrators and imaging teams can remotely monitor display performance, generate compliance reports, and receive alerts if any remote workstation falls out of calibration — giving enterprise imaging teams full visibility into every display on their network, regardless of where the radiologist is located.
