How Virtuoso Works
Managing DICOM display calibration across an enterprise is complex. Every display must meet DICOM 3.14 standards. Every workstation must be documented. Every compliance deadline must be met — regardless of your PACS team’s bandwidth.
Virtuoso removes that burden entirely.
DBI’s calibration experts monitor your fleet, manage your reporting, and ensure every display in your organization stays compliant. Your staff stays focused on patients.
Powered by CFS Calibration Suite® and hosted in a secure cloud environment,
Virtuoso integrates CFS WebManager and Local Agent tools into a centralized management service.
It scales across facilities as your organization grows — covering Clinical, PACS, Diagnostic, Teleradiology, and Breast Imaging environments.
Installation & Configuration
DBI manages the complete enterprise onboarding process, including secure cloud setup, WebManager configuration, remote connectivity, and customized calibration settings tailored to each organization.

Enterprise Management FAQs
What is Virtuoso, and how is it different from the CFS software included with a DBI display?
CFS Calibration Suite® is included with all DBI displays and handles automated calibration. Virtuoso is a fully managed service layer built on top of CFS Cloud and WebManager. With Virtuoso, DBI's calibration experts actively monitor your fleet, handle all compliance documentation, manage your reporting obligations, and respond to test failures — so your PACS and IT teams do not have to. It is the difference between having the software and having the expertise.
Which compliance standards does Virtuoso support?
Virtuoso supports DICOM 3.14, ACR, MQSA, JHACO, Joint Commission, NYC standards, and NYS standards. Report delivery for each standard is included in the service. TG-18 / TG-270 visual tests for MQSA compliance are also generated automatically through CFS Calibration Suite®.
Can Virtuoso scale across multiple facilities in a health system?
Yes. Virtuoso is designed for multi-facility enterprise deployments. It grows in tandem with your organization, meeting expanding requirements across hospitals, imaging centers, remote reading sites, and academic medical centers. Customizable calibration plans are configured per facility, with global fleet reporting available at the enterprise level.
What types of reports does Virtuoso provide, and how often are they delivered?
Virtuoso provides QC/QA Wizard reports, global asset reports, global fleet reports, per-display reports, MQSA reports, JHACO reports, and NYC/NYS reports. Reports included and frequency are determined based on your specific requirements and preferences.
Does Virtuoso include support for the annual MQSA Physicist review?
Yes. Remote live support for the annual MQSA Physicist review is included in Virtuoso. DBI calibration experts are available during the review to provide documentation, answer compliance questions, and support the review process directly.
How is the initial Virtuoso setup configured?
DBI handles the full configuration process by consulting with your PACS/IT team to optimize test settings and alerting protocols, and customizing the configuration for your organization's specific management requirements.
