The Phoenix II lets the radiologist tune the entire reading environment.
Each system targets a known source of fatigue, from glare and noise to display position and air comfort.
EZ-Track Monitor System
Displays That Move Exactly Where You Need
The EZ-Track system adjusts monitor height and depth with precision. Displays move forward and back together, and up and down independently of the desk surface. Every screen stays at the correct viewing distance and angle as posture changes.Long sedentary reading sessions raise the risk of back strain and fatigue. The Phoenix Home raises and lowers electronically, so the radiologist can alternate sitting and standing throughout the day. Four height presets recall a preferred position instantly, and soft-collision safety sensors stop the desk if it meets an obstruction.
- Integrated Height and Depth Adjustment
- Monitors Move Forward and Back in Unison
- Independent Vertical Display Adjustment
- Maintains Correct Viewing Distance
Control Light, Sound, and Air
A Reading Environment in tune with you
Privacy panels reduce ambient sound and stray light at the workstation. Dimmable gooseneck lighting and adjustable ambient backlighting both reduce eye strain. Built-in personal air circulation keeps the radiologist comfortable through long sessions. A comfortable waterfall edge softens contact during extended reading.
- Privacy Panels for Sound and Light Abatement
- Dimmable Gooseneck Task Light
- Adjustable Ambient Backlighting
- Built-In Personal Air Circulation
Sized to the Reader, Matched to the System
Precision Fit for Demanding Reading Rooms
A flagship station should fit whoever sits at it, shift after shift. The Phoenix II adjusts electronically with four presets and soft-collision sensors, and its height range is specified to the readers it serves. DBI configures each unit for the individual radiologist — short or tall — and matches it to the displays and computing in the room.

Professional Installation and Complete Bundles
Consistent Rollouts, Room After Room
Outfitting one flagship room or twenty calls for a coordinated rollout. DBI arranges and manages professional installation, so each Phoenix II is set up to the same standard across the department. Phoenix II FAQs
What makes the Phoenix II the flagship of the line?
It adds full environmental control to the Phoenix platform. The EZ-Track monitor system, privacy panels, ambient backlighting, and personal air circulation are not included on the Phoenix I or Home models.
What is the EZ-Track monitor system?
EZ-Track is DBI's integrated monitor mount. It adjusts display height and depth, moving screens forward and back together while allowing independent vertical movement, so displays stay at the correct distance and angle.
How does the Phoenix II reduce eye strain?
It combines dimmable gooseneck task lighting with adjustable ambient backlighting. Controlled lighting reduces glare and contrast fatigue during low-light diagnostic reading.
Does the Phoenix II include installation, and can it be bundled with displays and a CPU?
Yes to both. Professional installation is included and managed by DBI, and diagnostic displays, CPU solutions, and seating can be bundled into one order.
How do you make sure the desk fits the radiologist?
Yes. DBI bundles diagnostic displays, CPU solutions, and seating with the workstation, so it arrives as one integrated solution. It is a consultative sale. DBI specifies the Phoenix II's height range for the readers who use the room — short or tall — and matches each station to the displays and computing it serves.
I have an Anthro Carl's Table. Is the Phoenix II the replacement?
Yes. The Phoenix II is the current-generation successor to flagship workstations like the Anthro Carl's Table (CT15/CT19), which has been discontinued.
The Phoenix II is built for radiologists who want full command of their reading environment.
DBI will partner with you on an individualized consultation, match the desk to your readers and system, bundle the displays and computing you need, and arrange professional installation. Request a quote for a complete, ready-to-read flagship solution.
